ChurchSuite: 16 Chairs Reupholstered to Match the Brand

When ChurchSuite moved into a new office it inherited 16 Orangebox Do chairs in the wrong colours. Rather than replace them it had Coggin SOS reupholster the set to match its brand, saving £2,640 against buying new.

The situation

What ChurchSuite needed

ChurchSuite came to us on a personal recommendation. The chairs that came with the office were good chairs, just not in ChurchSuite's colours.

The question was whether reupholstering could give the exact look the brand needed at a sensible cost.

What we did

How the project ran

  1. Before any work began we showed ChurchSuite an identical Orangebox Do chair with a headrest from our workshop, so the finished look was agreed up front.
  2. The 16 chairs were collected and each one stripped, refinished and reupholstered to ChurchSuite's specification.
  3. Each chair was function tested and returned by courier.
  4. The savings certificate for the project was issued with the invoice.

The result

What it came to

Sixteen chairs that now carry the brand, for less than a third of what new ones would have cost.
