What Makes a London Clearance Different
Loading bays are booked, not found
Most managed buildings run a bay booking system with fixed slots. Miss the slot and the vehicle waits on a red route or goes away. We book the bay as part of the job and plan the load around the time we are given.
The lift decides the schedule
A shared goods lift with a booking sheet sets how much can move per hour, far more than team size does. We ask for lift dimensions and the booking window up front, because that is what the timings hang on.
Out of hours is normal here
Plenty of City, Canary Wharf and West End buildings will only allow furniture moves in the evening or at a weekend. We quote for that as standard rather than treating it as an extra.
Emissions rules apply to every vehicle
The whole of Greater London is inside the ULEZ, and central London adds the Congestion Charge on top. Our vehicles meet the standards and the charges are priced into the quote, so there is no surprise line later.
Building induction and insurance
Managing agents commonly want a method statement, risk assessment and proof of insurance before anyone is allowed on site, and sometimes a site induction. We supply these as part of the job.
Nowhere to stage the furniture
Space is the thing London offices do not have. There is rarely a spare floor to stack a clearance on, so it moves straight from the office to the vehicle. That is a sequencing job, and it is why the survey matters.

How quickly can you clear an office in London?
As fast as the building allows. The limit is almost never us. Bay and lift slots often have to be booked a week or more ahead, and many buildings only permit furniture moves out of hours. Tell us your deadline when you enquire and we will say honestly whether it can be met.
What does office clearance cost in London?
It depends on volume, the floor, lift access and whether the building requires out of hours working. London jobs cost more than the same volume out of town, because of access restrictions and vehicle charges. Furniture with resale value comes off the price, and on a good quality clearance that can cover a large part of it.
Do you work evenings and weekends?
Yes, and in London it is often the only option the building will allow. We quote for it as standard rather than adding it later.
Are the Congestion Charge and ULEZ extra?
No. Our vehicles meet the emissions standards and any charges are included in the quoted price.
What happens to the furniture?
Reuse comes first. Anything with life left is refurbished and resold. What cannot be reused is separated for material recovery. Nothing goes to landfill.
Can the furniture pay for the clearance?
Often, partly or fully. We assess what is worth reselling and offset it against the cost. That is our Reuse Credit, and it works best on newer task seating and height-adjustable desks.
Do you clear a single floor as well as a whole building?
Yes. Single floors, single departments and multi-site programmes. Tell us the scale and we will scope it.
Do you only work with businesses?
Yes. We clear for businesses and organisations, not private homes.
Do you do office removals in London?
We clear, we do not relocate. If you are moving office we clear what is not going with you, credit anything with resale value against the invoice and recycle the rest, and your removals firm moves what is. Many London moves run both on the same day.
