Diffrient World
From £185 per chair ex VAT The most pared back of the range: form-sensing mesh, a light frame and almost nothing to adjust. Ideal for hot desks and shared workstations where chairs get used by different people every day.
Liberty
From £250 per chair ex VAT A tri-panel mesh back that forms itself around the spine as you move, with no lumbar dial to set. Slimmer than the Freedom and lighter to move, so it works well in meeting rooms and touchdown areas.
Freedom Low Back
From £185 per chair ex VAT The same weight-sensitive recline and the same synchronous armrests, without the headrest. The lower back suits benched desks, rooms with low sightlines and anywhere a headrest would get in the way.
Freedom with Headrest
From £415 per chair ex VAT Niels Diffrient designed the Freedom without a recline tension dial. Your own weight sets the resistance, so the chair is right the moment you sit down. Both use a form-sensing mesh back with no lumbar dial to set. The Liberty has a tri-panel back and adjustable arms, and the Diffrient World is the more pared back of the two with less to adjust.
Are your Humanscale chairs genuine?
Yes. We only supply authentic Humanscale chairs. Every chair is checked for authenticity during inspection, and anything that does not pass is recycled rather than resold.
Do Humanscale chairs need adjusting?
Very little. The recline responds to the sitter’s own weight and the mesh back shapes itself, so a chair moving between people does not need setting up each time.
